What do I do if my Bento Transfer failed?

A transfer from a bank or credit union to your Bento account can fail for a number of reasons that may result in temporary account suspension, the connected funding source being removed for security reasons, a negative account balance, or all three.

If your Bento Transfer fails and you find that your account has been suspended or connected funding source removed, please look for an email from our Support Team. The email will contain next steps to get your account reinstated. If you did not receive an email, please check your spam folder or email us at support@bentoforbusiness.com.

Common Reasons for failed Bento Transfers:

Insufficient funds: There are insufficient funds in the sending bank or credit union account to complete the transaction.

Frozen account: A bank or credit union account has been frozen and is prevented from transferring funds.

Other reasons: Stop payments, Non-Transaction accounts, etc.

Additionally, if your transfer has failed, please contact your bank or credit union to check on the status of your bank account. Then either re-initiate the transfer or ask your financial institution why the transfer may not be processed.
