Security Policies

We understand that our customers trust us with their money and the bulk of the work we’ve put in over the years has gone to ensure that we keep them protected.  Bento continues to work hard to keep its customers' data and money safe. Here are a few ways we strive to maintain the security of our products and customers:

Data Encryption

Bento uses 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to ensure personal information is protected, and all data is stored in highly secure data centers, which utilize state-of-the-art electronic surveillance and multi-factor access control systems. PCI DSS Compliance

Bento is PCI DSS compliant.

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a widely accepted set of policies and procedures intended to optimize the security of credit, debit and cash card transactions and protect cardholders against misuse of their personal information.

PCI DSS compliance requirements were developed and are maintained by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council, and consist of a set of security controls that businesses are required to implement to protect credit card data and comply with the PCI Security Standards.
